What we do
Who's My Grafter is an introduction service. You tell us what needs doing, and we find a tradesperson we have checked and put the two of you in touch.
We do not carry out the work. The tradesperson does. Any contract for the work itself is between you and them, not between you and us.
What this costs you
Nothing. We charge the tradesperson for the introduction. You pay them directly for the work, at the price the two of you agree. We take no cut of that price and add nothing on top.
What we are responsible for
We are responsible for the introduction itself: for checking the people we send, for matching your job to someone who does that kind of work, and for handling it properly if something goes wrong.
We are not responsible for the standard of the work, for anything the tradesperson agrees with you directly, or for delays and costs that arise between you and them. Nothing here limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.
What we check
Before anyone goes on our list we look at their public liability insurance, confirm their identity and address, check they hold the qualifications the work requires, and look at jobs they have done. We keep people on the list only while the work stays good.
Those checks are made at a point in time. They are not a guarantee about any individual job.
What we ask of you
Give us accurate information about the job and the property. Tell us if things change. Treat the tradesperson decently. If you are not the owner of the property, make sure you have permission for the work.
Quotes and prices
Any prices shown on this site are guides based on typical costs in the area. They are not quotes. Your price comes from the tradesperson once they understand your job.
Cancelling
You can cancel at any time before work starts by telling us or the tradesperson. Once you have agreed terms with them directly, their cancellation terms apply.

Your legal rights
Nothing here affects your statutory rights as a consumer under UK law, including the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
General
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If we change these terms we will update the date at the top.
