Complaints
If something has gone wrong, tell us. We would much rather hear about it than not.
How to tell us
Email hello@whosmygrafter.co.uk with your name, your postcode, and what has happened. If you have photos, send those too.
What happens next
- We acknowledge your complaint within one working day
- We look into it and speak to the tradesperson
- We come back to you with an answer within ten working days. If it is complicated and will take longer, we tell you why and when to expect a reply
What we can and cannot do
Where the problem is with the introduction, that is ours to fix and we will fix it. That includes sending someone who was not right for the job, or not turning up when we said.
Where the problem is with the work itself, your contract is with the tradesperson. We will still get involved, push for it to be put right, and keep on top of it. If a tradesperson will not put things right, they come off our list.
If you are still not happy
Tell us and we will look at it again ourselves before you go anywhere else.
For a dispute about the work, you may be able to use an alternative dispute resolution scheme, or take the matter to the small claims court. Citizens Advice can talk you through your options on 0808 223 1133 or at citizensadvice.org.uk.
How this helps everyone
Every complaint tells us something about who should stay on our list. That is how the checking stays worth something.
